CooperSmith's is a Fort Collins staple. Since opening in 1989, CooperSmith's is a favorite for tourists and locals alike. Crafting, some say, the best pub food in town, CooperSmith's is an ideal stop for a quick lunch with friends or for a date night with your special someone. And don't get us started on their craft beer. Their Old Fortwaukee is an easy drinking American Lager. If you have a more adventurous palate, Sigda's Green Chili beer, with just the right amount of kick! We spoke with Chris O'Mara, CooperSmith's Operating Manager to learn more about himself and CooperSmith's.

What is the story behind how CooperSmith's   got its start?

Opening in 1989, CooperSmith's was the fourth brewery in Colorado and the first brewpub in Northern Colorado. Founded by Scott Smith and Brad Page, the company helped create and shape the beer culture that is so prevalent in Fort Collins.

CooperSmith's operates in a historic Old Town building and helped to revitalize Old Town Square.
