Bikes Beers & Bands Itinerary

Bikes, Beers, and Bands are the three pillars of the Fort Collins Community. Fort Collins is home to over 20 craft breweries, fosters a thriving local music scene with support from the Music District, and is one of only five cities in the country to be named a Platinum Level Bicycle Friendly City.

Day 1:

Bike Ride on Poudre River Trail

The Poudre River Bike Trail is one of Fort Collins’ many paved bike/pedestrian trails that link nature and commuting. This trail meanders along the Poudre River for 10.10 miles from the western foothills to the eastern plains of Fort Collins and travels right through Old Town Fort Collins. Enjoy beautiful river views and tree-covered pathways on this cycling adventure. www.fcgov.com/bicycling/bike-maps.php

Rent Bikes from Spin

The City of Fort Collins has welcomed an e-bike and e-scooter share program Spin to the city. Spin, which operates in communities across North America and Europe, has e-scooters and e-bikes located throughout the city and CSU campus. Users can access and rent the devices through the Spin app. Some locations in Fort Collins, like the Old Town dismount zone, will be geofenced, meaning devices will not be allowed to operate within the ‘fenced’ dismount area. The City’s operating and parking rules for e-bikes and e-scooters will also apply to Spin devices. Spin e-scooters and e-bikes will be parked at several key Transfort bus stops and stations.
