Pianos About Town started in 2010 as a collaboration between Bohemian Foundation, the Downtown Development Authority and the City of Fort Collins. During the summer, 20 hand-painted pianos take up residence outside, providing whimsical pops of color and music. Sit down and play a song yourself, or just admire and listen! Pianos About Town is part of the Art in Public Places Program. Fort Collins holds artistic and colorful art around each corner waiting to be experienced and appreciated. Thanks to a community commitment to Art in Public Places and talented artists, Fort Collins hosts many beautiful art projects that the public can enjoy freely as they walk along the streets or through alleyways.
