We believe in a learn well, live well philosophy, so we want to help you enjoy your time in our CE center at the Translational Medicine Institute (TMI) as well as in our community. As you plan your trip, consider extending your stay a day or two before or after your training to experience some of the many activities and adventures that Fort Collins and Northern Colorado have to offer. Spring & Summer Friendly itineraries

Grab your hiking shoes, fishing poles, or walk through Old Town as Fort Collins has so much to offer. In the warmer months, one can freely explore the natural areas, Horsetooth, Lory State Park, over 285 miles of trail systems, and with a short drive, Rocky Mountain National Park. Fort Collins is also home to the Poudre Canyon, which offers world class white water rafting for all levels of experience. If you are a fan of the arts, Fort Collins has you covered, with over 15 musical venues, museums, and many summer concert series, there is no lack of entertainment around town!

Fall & Winter Friendly itineraries

Colorado offers some of the best fall colors around, just take a short drive up the Poudre Canyon or explore one of our many natural areas to find out for yourself. If you are visiting in the winter, be sure to check out Lory State Park or Horsetooth Mountain Space on a set of snowshoes or a fat-tire-bike, it will be an unmatched experience! While Fort Collins is just a two to three hour drive to a handful of ski resorts, grab your gear and get ready for the slopes.
