It's no secret - Fort Collins is know for its breweries! With over 20 to choose from, planning your route can be a little overwhelming. We're here to help you decide which breweries to hit by providing some insider information about Peculier Brewing Company, a brewery that has been in Fort Collins for just over three years.
We spoke with one of the General Managers at Peculier to learn more about this brewery!
What do you love about Fort Collins?
Small City, Big Charm! There are endless amounts of activities, no matter what time of year it is. We are so close to all things that make Colorado such a wonderful place. Whether that’s biking, hiking, shopping, or visiting museums, there is no shortage of things to involve yourself in. There’s a real sense of community, as someone with a family, I know it often takes a village and I am proud to call the people of Fort Collins “my village”.
What are your top 3 favorite activities to do in Fort Collins?
- Checking out the food and craft beer scene.
- Exploring the outdoor amenities like Horsetooth Reservoir and the Poudre Trail.
- Tour de Corgi! (Obviously I have a corgi.)

What "can't miss" activity/restaurant/place would you tell a first-time visitor to go?
To start, Tour de Corgi (October 3, 2026) and Tour de Fat (August 29, 2026) are both excellent first time activities to see. Old Town Square Lighting Ceremony (held on the First Friday of November) has brought excellent memories to my family. Breakfast at Silver Grill, lunch drinks at Peculier Brewing Company, and then an early dinner at The Regional where you can find us on tap!
What makes Peculier Brewing Company unique?
Our beer! We have over 20 well designed and incredibly tasty craft beer offerings at any time throughout our 2 locations, with a plethora of different beer stylings to choose from. You won’t want to sleep on our seltzers or sours either, we don’t skimp, so neither should you. Our Head Brewer is a proud graduate from CSU with a Bachelors in Fermentation Science along with a Masters in Science in Organizational Leadership from CSU Global. Our two location are very different from each other so you have different settings to choose from. Windsor is for entertaining, which serves excellent food from Urban Field Pizza. Fort Collins is a great place to relax and you can even bring your pup, we love when you do!

How did Peculier get its start?
The love of craft beer! After traveling a ton within the US, our owners always found themselves perched up at a local craft brewery somewhere, talking about how great different breweries are and their offerings. What makes them so good and studying what separates place to place. Eventually that shared passion sprouted thoughts of opening their very own brewery and here we are nearly 6 years later.

What do you want visitors to experience at Peculier?
We want to represent just what Fort Collins is. A place you can find great beer, served by friendly faces. Our beer is brewed with top quality ingredients and attention to details. We believe when you come perch up at the bar or snag a table, you’ll taste that from the very first sip. #beersetapart is our mission statement and that’s exactly what we aim to do with every batch.
