Welcome to the heart of Fort Collins, Old Town Square!

This bustling, central location in Downtown Fort Collins was first constructed in 1985. Before the Square was constructed as a pedestrian friendly hub, Linden Street continued all the way to Mountain Avenue.  In 2015, Old Town Square was renovated, and the renovation earned national recognition for Fort Collins.

Now, the Square boasts a variety of shopping, dining, and experience options – something to fit anyone’s fancy!

Events

Old Town Square is a hotspot for events! Their summer concert series, Thursday Night Live presented by Bohemian Nights, brings local and national acts to the center of Fort Collins and provides free evening fun.

Every July, the Fort Collins Brickies Creation Festival™, a signature event since 2019, allows those young in age and young in heart to compete and enjoy all things LEGO®. If you aren’t competitive, come see the builders in action and enjoy masterpieces by local creators.

To end the year, the Downtown Holiday Lighting Ceremony draws thousands of people from the region to Old Town Square. Held on the first Friday of November, the Holiday Lighting Ceremony is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit.
