La Piadina

La piadina specializes in authentic piadina flatbread sandwiches from the Romagna region of Italy. Piadina, a precursor of pizza (500 years older), is one of the most popular street foods in Italy. It has spread across Europe and started to become more known in the Americas this last decade. La piadina started as a food truck in the summer of 2013 and finally landed a brick and mortar location (in the form of a container, within the newly established The Exchange) at the end of 2019. They prepare their piadina breads daily, following a tradition 800 years in the making, with some new takes on the classic sandwiches.
