New American Clarinet Flavors
With Timothy Burns, Piano, and other faculty artists
Thursday, September 15, 7:30 p.m., Organ Recital Hall
A pinch of salt, sprinkled with spirit, and topped with a generous dash of sugar, Wesley Ferreira really cooks in a recital that’s marinated in Americana. The program features new works for clarinet by American composers, featuring Kenji Bunch’s “Cookbook,” Theresa Martin’s “Peaches at Midnight,” and John Adams’ monumental “Gnarly Buttons.” Served piping hot!
