Virtual Little STEAMers: Flower Dissection

    • Get ready for some flower power! During this class, little ones will learn about the different parts of a flower as we observe and dissect these amazing plants. After the dissection, we’ll transform our dissected flowers into works of art. Finally, we’ll make wildflower seed bombs for you to plant around your home.

Through storytime, crafts, and hands-on activities, your preschooler will get to explore the building blocks of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math in this virtual version of Little STEAMers! Designed especially for children 3-5 years old and their caregivers.

Registration closes August 11. Instruction for this workshop will take place live on Zoom on August 13. All program materials will be available by delivery or pickup before the Little STEAMers. Communication regarding delivery or pickup will be sent after registration

Most Little STEAMers programs require some basic household and craft supplies, in addition to the program materials provided. We recommend that you have scissors, tape, glue, crayons, markers, pencils, and washable paint for your child’s use during the program. You may purchase a Craft Kit with all of these items directly from the Museum by adding “Craft Kit” to your order. The Craft Kit will be delivered or available for pick-up alongside your Little STEAMers program materials.
