Taming Chaos: Centaur Myths from Ancient Greece through Today

    • Taming Chaos: Centaur Myths from Ancient Greece through Today will be presented virtually at 6 pm Tuesday, July 20, by the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. Christopher Muscato, Adjunct in the Department of History at the University of Northern Colorado, will explore the history and mythologies of the half-human, half-horse creatures known as centaurs. Tickets for the program are $5 per Zoom connection and available at globalvillagemuseum.org. The presentation is in conjunction with the Museum’s Main Gallery exhibit, Magical and Mythical Animals in Human Imagination, on display through July 24.
