Tai Chi

    • Wishing Well Taijiquan (Tai Chi Fist) incorporates the movements of Temple Style Tai Chi Form (also referred to as Toaist or Wudang Style). It places emphasis on the principles outlined in the original Tai Chi Classic attributed to Taoist Philosopher Zhang San Feng; patron saint of Wudang Mountain and founder of Tai Chi. 

      Movements are first introduced within the solo routine and then isolated, allowing for a deeper exploration of the structure behind each posture and the energetics within the technique. These energies are then refined through a form of partnered practice known as Tui Shou or “Pushing Hands” where gentle force is exchanged through physical cohesion. 

      As practitioners advance in skill and understanding, this practice can intensify in pace and open the door to more engaging methods.
