Re-Making the Mark by Zora J Murff: Artist Talk and Book Signing

    • Join the Center for Fine Art Photography for an artist talk by Zora J Murff about his exhibition Re-Making the Mark, on view at the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art May 31st-September 6th. The exhibition uses historic photographs coupled with images of Murff’s documentation of the fallout from redlining in a historically black neighborhood in Omaha, Nebraska. Murff explains: “Re-Making the Mark prompts inquiry into how racial violence has been recorded through images, and how these same images can be used to interrupt collective belief.” Murff will also be signing his new book At No Point In Between.
