Are you wondering how to live your life fully, genuinely, artfully, compassionately, and wisely? The teaching and practices of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR), as developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn and colleagues, are a universal expression of ancient wisdom teachings that lead to transforming our lives––a shift from stress, anxiety, and dis-ease to contentment, joy, and freedom.
The Mindful Living retreat is based on the teachings and practices of MBSR. Through periods of guided mindfulness practice–– including sitting and walking meditation, mindful yoga, and awareness in nature––as well as dialogue, wisdom talks, and periods of silent practice, participants will be supported in a present-moment inquiry into the naturally awake and basically good nature of being human.
This retreat is open to newcomers to meditation as well as to experienced meditators who are looking to deepen or refresh their practice in a group setting. It builds the foundation from which one will return to life better equipped to manage stress and confidently integrate mindfulness into daily life.
