In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fort Collins Symphony's musicians wanted to share their musical artistry with our community through "Keep Us Playing Tiny Concerts" project. The Tiny Concerts feature self-recorded videos of our musicians playing a favorite piece of music from the comfort of their home/studio. They are posted on the Fort Collins Symphony's (FCS) website as they are received, and are available for everyone to enjoy free of charge.
The FCS website also includes a link to the Symphony’s “Colorado Gives” website where a dedicated “KUP” fundraiser has been established. The purpose of the fund is to support our 52 tenured and provisional musicians who are experiencing financial repercussions due to pandemic-related cancellations. By donating to the “KUP” campaign, your donation is divided equally among our musicians. Disbursements are done on a monthly basis as long as the pandemic prevents our musicians and audiences from gathering together. Gifts to the fund are tax deductible in accordance with current I.R.S. regulations.
