Makoa Music will perform from 5:30-7 pm on Friday, Sept. 2, at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. Makoa Music is the brother-sister duo of Noa Phillips (age 17) and Makena Phillips (age 14). Noa plays the guitar and ukulele, and Makena plays the ukulele and sings lead. Admission to the Museum will be free from 5-8 pm. In the Main Gallery, Visions of Rural China features folk art paintings from Huxian County from 1973 to 2000.
