CSU Alumni Day In: Growing, Using, and Preserving Herbs

    • CSU Extension in Pueblo is offering a virtual class for CSU Alumni and friends to learn about growing, using, and preserving herbs! Join CSU Extension Agent’s Sheri Caffey and Laura Griffin for this educational and fun webinar.

      Participants will learn:

      How to grow and care for herbs
      Flavor and food combinations
      How to store, freeze, and dry herbs
      Meet your CSU Extension Pueblo County Agents:
      Sherie Caffey is a Pueblo native. She got her Master’s degree in botany from CSU-Pueblo in 2015, and shortly after began working at CSU Extension in Pueblo County as the Horticulture Agent. She loves to garden and spend time outside with her three dogs, husband, and son.

      Laura Griffin is the Family and Consumer Science Agent for the Pueblo County Extension Office. Laura grew up in Pueblo and received both her BS and MS in Environmental Health from CSU. Currently, she teaches a variety of classes on food safety, food preservation, nutrition and health. In her spare time, Laura enjoys attending CSU football games, training her two Duck Tolling Retrievers and participating in the many outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.
