      Calling all curious critters and nature enthusiasts! Join us for a buzzing good time at Bug Day, a fun-filled event where you can learn all about the fascinating world of insects. Bug Day is a fantastic opportunity for families to explore the wonderful world of insects and their vital role in our ecosystem. So come on down, celebrate the little things, and let's get buggy!

      When: Saturday, August 10th, 2024 from 10:00am - 2:00pm
      Where: Bath Garden Center & Nursery, 2000 East Prospect Road, Fort Collins
      Cost: $5 per person

      Bug Day Activities Include:

      Bug Exhibit: Get up close and personal with a variety of creepy crawlies in our interactive exhibit from the experts at Colorado State University. Our friendly experts will be on hand to answer your bug-tastic questions.

      Ladybug Launch: Help us release a swarm of lucky ladybugs into the garden! These beneficial beetles are natural predators of garden pests, and their arrival will bring a touch of luck and beauty to your yard.

      Mask Up for Fun: Unleash your inner insect with our mask-making station. Craft your favorite bug persona, be it a spiky-legged spider or a majestic monarch butterfly.

      Bug Out with Crafts: Design your own bug magnets! Choose from a variety of colorful shapes and add googly eyes, pipe cleaner legs, and other fun embellishments to create your own magnetic menagerie. You can also release your creativity at our coloring station. We'll have bug-themed coloring pages for all ages, perfect for sparking imaginations and learning about different insect varieties.

      Yummy Grub: We will have ice cream from Kona Ice and chocolate-covered crickets to try!
