2019 High Plains Landscape Workshop

    • The 16th annual High Plains Landscape Workshop dives deep into LOCALscaping - concept that will have us taking a closer look into our environment, gardening practices, and the impacts of our limited water resources. How do plants adapt to meet our high desert challenges? Learn how to effectively remove lawn and re-purpose your garden space, grow a "no water" garden, add underused native plants, and incorporate watershed landscaping techniques while boosting your soil's health.
      Keynote speakers include Dr. Tony Koski, Kenton Seth, Crystal Strouse, and Pamela Berstler. If you are a home gardener looking to help your landscape thrive this year, this day is perfect for you.
      Cost: $85 non-member; $75 member, $85 late registration after Feb 22 for all ticket purchases. Registration includes morning snacks, coffee/tea, boxed lunch by Fiona's Deli, Workshop packet and materials, silent auction, and garden book sale. This event is presented by Fort Collins Nursery and is co-hosted by Gardens on Spring Creek, Fort Collins Utilities, and CSU Extension Larimer County.
