Fort Collins will be hosting a day filled with COVID-responsible events planned throughout the City and the Northern Colorado region to celebrate the holiday.
Hot Air Balloon Launch: Be ready to rise and shine and make your way outside to take in the view of a bounty of hot air balloons floating above Fort Collins. There will be several launch points throughout the city, ensuring everyone will have a chance to see a good amount of balloons. The Hot Air Balloons will take flight at approximately 6 a.m. and stay airborne for several hours, depending on wind conditions.
Beginning at 10 am there will be more than 20 local pilots paying tribute to first responders with an airplane parade that will take place in the skies over Fort Collins and Loveland. On board, several of the planes will host COVID-19 front-line responders, including nurses, doctors, respiratory therapists, and assisted living facility workers. Visit fcgov.com/july4th for route details.
