World Percussion Ensemble Concert

Join us for a classic movie every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at Gryphon Games and Comics! From sci-fi to westerns to comedies, we'll always be playing a classic (mostly 1940s-1970s, for inquiring minds). Admission for the movie is free, and coffee, milkshakes, and snacks are available for purchase from the Purple Cup Cafe (please, no outside food or drinks). The Concert Orchestra’s program titled Looking Back to Look Forward opens with Edvard Grieg's ‘Holberg’ Suite, Op. 40, conducted by Leslie Stewart. 'Eco-Fashion' features student-designed and created fashions made of recycled materials, and inspired by Lewis Carroll's 1871 novel 'Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There'. Fun and serious at the same time, these inspired garments are part of an academic assignment for the design foundations course in the Department of Design and Merchandising, and were worn in the Fall 2016 Recycled Fashion Show produced by CSU's student chapter of Fashion Group International.
